  I didn't look at the reviews until AFTER sitting down and ordering drinks. A coworker and I were headed home from a day trip and both of us were craving nachos. The menu had some decent options but we both wound up opting for the same nachos.
  
  They were made and delivered pretty quickly which was great since we were hungry. I was pretty nervous based on the reviews but I thought they were really good and totally hit the spot.
  
  The price wasn't bad and the vibe was fine as it's in the middle of the terminal and allowed for conversation mixed with people watching.
  
  I would consider stopping in again if I was hungry before a flight.

  It's airport food so it hits the spot after a long night of cocktails in Vegas, but don't expect anything special.
  
  The fish tacos are my go to there and are actually descent. The beans look right out of can and don't typically look very appetizing.
  
  Beers are nice and cold. Service is usually friendly.

  While I definitely have experienced better, I've still eaten here 3 or 4 times.  The options are fairly limited in this terminal and the beer is at least consistent.  
  **This place also has another Yelp listing at the Tequileria Grill; ratings are a bit better, but not much**
  Carlos, our server, was a bit busy and so not always available when we needed him, but he was super friendly and took care of everything we needed.  He even found me a more spicy salsa (to add some flavor where the food was lacking, as others have said). Fish Tacos were (airport) decent; Barbacoa Tacos were much better once I had some spicy salsa; Tortilla Soup had potential, but was too tomato-forward.
  
  Again, this place is fine when waiting for your Southwest Flight and maybe need some food to soak up your most recent bender in Vegas! That, and more beer. Remember, you can walk around the airport with your drinks, just pound them before you get on the flight =)

  For Cheap, Fast Mexican Food in an Airport, it's OK, but Don't Order Wine.
  
  So rather than going from Louisville to Chicago to Kansas City, we went all the way to Vegas (baby) and back to Kansas City--more than doubling our travel time. No big deal because I was with a cooler-than-shit person and shit happens. However, when you have three hours to kill in McCarran, you can eat or gamble. Either way you will lose money.
  
  We started out with the Nachos ($13.50), made up of corn tortillas, queso sauce, sour cream, cilantro, sweet pickled onions, pico de gallo, queso fresco, and added shredded chicken (+$3). It didn't look appetizing and tasted barely OK. I ordered the La Chimichanga ($16), which was a crispy burrito, roasted pork shoulder, green chile salsa, pico de gallo, pickled onions, roasted corn, black beans, lettuce, sour cream, and queso fresco, served with rice and refried beans. You would think with so much stuffing, it would be bursting with flavors. Alas, it wasn't--it was all muted, probably because of sub-standard ingredients muting what each thing was once. My buddy ordered the Beer Battered Fish Tacos ($16), that came with jicama slaw, chipotle aioli and served with rice and refried beans. He gobbled it up and didn't say much, so I will assume he had the same experience I had.
  
  Don't order wine because they gouge you. I know, it's Vegas and they all gouge you, but this was ridiculous. A four-ounce pour for $20?!?! Overall, there are a lot of options at McCarran so scope it out, if you have time, and buyer beware.

  Probably the worst, over-priced Barbacoa Tacos that I've had Anywhere. And I've had thousands of them. Who puts cheddar cheese and sour cream.on Barbacoa? The meat was so dry, it had to be cooking for 4 days!
  Waiter obviously couldnt care less, as he slowly strolled around with no sense of urgency.
  What a waste of time. Should have just got a damn burger across the hall!
